My Uncle has a penchant for steakhouses especially on birthdays.  He also doesn’t waste time with buffets or crowded events.  So-when I find myself in Great Neck on a Saturday night staring down a shellfish tower I know what’s up.  Family time.


Notice how I astutely pose with this jalapeño while he gets it done with some crab meat.

As I get older, I entirely understand the appeal.  A few years ago I may have stared down my cousin in a detached manner grabbing fistfuls of bread, but as the years pass-steak dinner might be the older mans equivalent of yoga.  Shark Tank brainstorm: 50+ steak dinner retreats?  Hold on, that might just be called a time lapse to the 1960s, either way I get it.

But I can’t guarantee that this lobster does…..
